Mobile Monopoly

Electronic Arts has put on the market an iPhone, Android, Nokia and Windows Mobile version of Monopoly. It is Monopoly Here & Now: The World Edition.

Monopoly is back thanks to innovative computer version of the classic board game from Hasbro. With numerous distinctive buildings and modern cities around the world this new version gives players the chance to play add to their property portfolio the most popular places on earth.

Monopoly is the first videogame that comes from the collaboration between EA and Hasbro. Players can now socialize with friends and family with the ultimate mobile game of Monopoly. Both the classic and the global version of Monopoly offer a completely new gameplay experience.

You must shake the iPhone or iPod touch to throw the dice, and can use your finger across the screen to drag cards. The board is visible in 3D, where you can zoom in for a close-up. The multiplayer version allows you to play with four players through Wi-Fi. Your teammates have to use the same router or log in on the same local network. If one of your friends suddenly has to go, you can just play on: the iPhone takes over his / her role.

You can also play against the iPhone, the AI function provides strong opponents. Through a menu you view the last five moves. It is not necessary to play the whole game because if you leave, the last play mode is automatically saved. Also fun: when you play you can listen to your own music.
