iPhone Rain radar app (version 2)
Rain Radar developed together with Supportware for the iPhone a free rain radar app. The gadget shows the Dutch and European rainfall radar and satellite images of the Netherlands and Europe can be requested. New in version 2 is the ability to zoom in, using the GPS receiver and reading the weatherforecast. The gadget is free and avaible in the iPhone store.

Android Rain radar app

The Rain Radar application is available in the Android Market, Google's own App Store. The website shows recently the "frost line", but it's not avaible on for mobile. According to Edwin Rijkaart of Rain Radar, the app is the first application approved by Google Dutch app program. The programming was done by Eindhoven's PhaseFour. According to Guus Knippenbergh of PhaseFour, the Rain-Radar app works with the various image formats that Android phones are equipped with.
