Nu.nl app

Owners of an iPhone or an Android device can follow the news on NU.nl not only with the built-in Web browser, but also through a specially developed application. Nu.nl is de leading newsprovider website in The Netherlands

Using the application users can quickly read the news on the site. Besides news stories, the application also gives quick access to information on weather and traffic, the AEX stoks and intermediate football standing in the Dutch Premiership.

Customize

Users can customize the application to their personal interest, you can add the sections you find most important to the bottom on the navigation screen.

iPhone

The motion-sensitive iPhone or iPod Touch users to shake the application to check for new messages.

Android

Besides the new application Android Users can also download an application NUkaart.nl, a service that delivers news from NU.nl and links it to a map of the area. That program shows local news, pictures and weather information. The map application, developed by the Dutch company Max.nl,  won a prize in a programming contest for Android developers earlier this year.
