Whatsapp Messenger

We already wrote about Whatsapp Messenger for Nokia phones but the app is also available for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry. WhatsApp Messenger is a smartphone messaging app which allows you to exchange messages with your friends and contacts without having to pay for SMS. To send and receive messages, WhatsApp utilizes your existing smartphone internet data plan: 3G/EDGE (or Wi-Fi when available)

In addition to messaging, iPhone, Android and BlackBerry WhatsApp Messenger users can send each other unlimited images, video and audio media messages.

WhatsApp only works among users who have the application, so after you download WhatsApp, make sure to use the "Tell a Friend" feature to share this App with the friends and contacts in your address book.

    De kosten zijn na het eerste jaar $1,99 per jaar. Pak hem beet €1,50 in euro dus...
    Dit is wat the Whatsapp website zegt. Valt wel mee.

    ik probeer de link bij de de nokia whatsapp te downloaden met
    m'n E72 maar ik kan 'm dan niet downloaden omdat er staat
    omdat het niet beschikbaar is voor de Nokia N73 terwijl ik
    'm niet download met een N73 maar een E72. Weet jij hoe ik
    deze versie alsnog kan downloaden? Heb je toevallig ook een link
    misschien? Hoe heet de versie van whatsapp die je bij Nokia op het
    plaatje ziet? Ik ben namelijk op zoek naar de versie waarbij je bij
    'favorites' drie poppetjes ziet in plaats van een. Ik had die namelijk
    een keer op m'n telefoon en die werkte qua verbinding echt het
    beste..

    Je kunt hem hier downloaden op je PC. Vervolgens zet je de app met de bijgeleverde software van je telefoon, van PC naar telefoon...

    Verder weet ik niet hoe alle versies er uit zien...je moet het doen met degene die je via de bovenstaande link kunt downloaden. Misschien is het plaatje verouderd.

    Hoi Sonja,
    Als het goed is wel. Let wel op dat je de laatste versie gebruikt van zowel Whatsapp als van je Operating System (OS) op je telefoon. Whatsapp zegt: Alle moderne Blackberry-apparaten worden ondersteund, mits ze gebruik maken van BlackBerry OS 4.5 of hoger.

    Hoe hoger hoe beter!

    Ik heb een iPad 3G met Wifi. Heb vergeefs geprobeerd de app voor mijn iPad te downloaden. Kreeg een melding van iTunes, nadat ik de app voor mijn iPhone had geupload, dat de app niet compatible voor de iPad is. Raar, want ik heb wel een microsimkaart voor de ipad. Daar staat dus ook een telefoonnummer op.
    Weet iemand waarom deze app niet werkt op de iPad?
