Huisartsenspreekuur op Twitter

Nederland heeft een eerste tweetspreekuur, een huisartsenspreekuur op Twitter. Dit maakte huisarts Erik Jansen uit Nijmegen, één van de initiatiefnemers, vandaag bekend.

Twitteraars kunnen op @tweetspreekuur vragen stellen over hun gezondheid. Huisarts Jansen en basisarts Bart Brandenburg geven voor zover mogelijk antwoord en adviseren indien nodig mensen naar hun eigen huisarts of naar het acute noodnummer te bellen. Als de twitteraar privacy wil, krijgt hij van @tweetspreekuur een inlogcode. Hij of zij kan dan 'onder vier ogen' verder praten met de dokter op de site tweet.webspreekuur.nl, een ontwerp van partner Filip van Dijk.
Tweetspreekuur geeft geen bindende adviezen, maar neemt wel onrust weg, geeft informatie en verwijst door.
