Vodafone 360

Vodafone recently launched Vodafone 360. This new service combines a variety of social networks, allowing information from all these sites to be read in one place. In collaboration with Samsung, two cell phones were designed specifically for Vodafone 360.

Vodafone presented 360 at a press conference in London as part of the new strategy of Vodafone. This conference was followed live on the Vodafone-press-deck during the PICNIC event in Amsterdam. The conference focused on what Vodafone 360 is all about and how it was developed. The new Vodafone 360 service was developed because people would need to have all the information they want in one place like info through social networks like Facebook, Windows Live Messenger and Google Talk. This will give the user easier and up-to-date access to all these social networks. Currently MySpace and Twitter are not yet connected but will certainly follow rapidly.

Vodafone People is the heart of the service. Here for example all the data on PC, mobile phone and social networks is automatically synchronized with each other and stored online. Also, music, games, photos and video are stored on this site.
